Meet Christine

Christine and her husband Bob.

Christine is a Hawaiʻi Island resident living in North Kohala, Hawi on HULA MOOSE FARM. Her husband Bob tends to his beautiful garden that produces apple bananas, papayas, lilikoi, lemons, limes, avocados, Hawaiian hot peppers.

She is rediscovering her love of horses and now has two mares Lacey and Puakea.
She also has a passion for photography and the island blesses her with many photo opportunities. You can often see her posts on Facebook of amazing island sunsets, cattle, horse, wild turkeys from the Tetakʻs Hana Aloha Ranch and HULA MOOSE FARM in Hawi.

Christine holds a B.S. in Health Science and a California Teaching Credential from San Jose State University. In addition she has earned a Master of Public Administration from University of San Francisco.

She received the honor of being presented with a Certificate of Excellence in recognition of outstanding contribution to the district schools and community by Union School District, San Jose, California.

In her career as a teacher, Christine has written many stories for her students to enthuse and inspire them to be avid readers and writers. One of these stories is her first published book, Legend of the HULA MOOSE.

She has moved on from teaching in the classroom to move to the middle of the Pacific Ocean where she focuses on the beauty that abounds. She is completing research for her second book.
